The event brought together representatives of government agencies and organizations, candidates included in the National Personnel Reserve, civil servants, university professors and lecturers, as well as young people.
The roundtable, held via the Zoom platform, was opened by R.Kh. Shirinova, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In her opening remarks, she highlighted the priority areas of public service modernization, human capital development, and the preparation of modern leadership personnel.
Participants discussed modern mechanisms for preparing personnel for public service, institutional approaches to engaging youth in public administration, the development of leadership competencies, the application of innovative approaches in managerial decision-making, and the broader introduction of digital technologies into public governance processes.
The participants also reviewed the significance and content of Presidential Decrees PF–77 and PF–78, adopted on 5 May 2025, focusing on the development of promising personnel, the formation of the National Personnel Reserve, and the expansion of youth participation in public administration.
At the conclusion of the event, participants put forward proposals and recommendations aimed at preparing competitive and highly qualified personnel for public service, strengthening youth leadership potential, and increasing their active involvement in public administration.
