The first stage of a short-term special training course for healthcare leaders has been successfully completed at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The course was organized in accordance with the tasks outlined during a video conference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on improving the system for handling public appeals and conducting in-depth analysis of public opinion.

The first stage of the program, organized by the Presidential Administration, the Academy of Public Policy and Administration, the President’s People’s Reception Office, the Ministry of Health, and partner organizations, brought together 67 healthcare managers and specialists from all regions of the country.

Throughout the training, particular attention was paid to handling citizens’ appeals, preventing corruption, effective communication, public opinion analysis, and the development of modern leadership competencies.

At the conclusion of the course, participants presented a number of practical proposals aimed at improving the performance of the healthcare system, enhancing the effectiveness of public appeal mechanisms, and strengthening management culture in healthcare institutions.

The training course contributes to the broader introduction of modern management approaches in the healthcare sector and supports the development of a professional corps of healthcare leaders.
