An official ceremony was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to inaugurate the restructured Master’s program for the 2025–2026 academic year. The renewed program is designed to ensure the effective implementation of Presidential Decree No. UP-78, “On measures to further improve the system of targeted training of promising personnel and their effective engagement in public administration and service.”
This academic year, a total of 165 of the most outstanding candidates have been admitted to the program. Of these, 120 are specialists recommended by the Agency for Governance Efficiency — professionals currently serving in leadership positions across government bodies—while the remaining 45 were selected through an open, merit-based competition.
During the ceremony, the Rector of the Academy extended his best wishes to the newly admitted students, emphasizing: “This Decree has ushered in a new era in public administration. Such attention is clear evidence that our Head of State regards the training of modern, forward-thinking personnel as a national priority. The specialists who will study at the Academy will become the architects of our country’s governance in the years ahead. You are the leaders who will guide state administration over the next 10–15 years—the new driving force behind Uzbekistan’s development.”
For reference: beginning today, students will pursue studies in “Public Administration”, “Comprehensive Regional Development”, and “Human Resource Management”. The curriculum includes hands-on practical training within government institutions, public organizations, and major companies across the country. In addition, high-performing students will be eligible for international internships based on their academic achievements throughout the year.
