The Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted its first official meeting with the delegation of the Hunan Academy of Governance of the People's Republic of China.

During the meeting, the parties held comprehensive discussions on expanding cooperation in the training and professional development of civil servants, advancing research in public administration, strengthening the professional capacity of faculty members, promoting academic mobility, and implementing joint educational and research projects.

Special attention was given to establishing a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between the two institutions. The participants discussed the initiative to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and identified priority areas for future collaboration.

The parties also exchanged views on developing joint research initiatives, preparing scientific publications, promoting faculty and researcher exchanges, and training highly qualified professionals equipped with modern knowledge and competencies in public administration.

Following the meeting, an introductory tour of the Academy was organized for the delegation under the guidance of Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations R.Kh. Shirinova. The guests were introduced to the Academy's modern educational and research infrastructure, academic environment, and facilities available for its participants.

The meeting marked an important step toward establishing effective cooperation between the Academy of Public Policy and Administration and the Hunan Academy of Governance and is expected to further strengthen bilateral collaboration in education, research, and public governance.
