At the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting took place with the participation of the Academy’s Rector Dr. Jasur Salikhov, Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Economic Development, Effective Governance and International Cooperation, as well as Andrew Templeman, member of the International Academic Advisory Council of the Academy.
During the meeting, issues related to enhancing the qualifications of managerial personnel, developing strategic thinking, fostering a culture of management, and integrating international best practices into the national system for the effective implementation of state programs and strategic initiatives were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was announced that Andrew Templeman, a member of the International Academic Advisory Council, will commence his duties at the Academy as Advisor to the Rector on Transformation and Strategic Development.
This appointment was defined as a targeted step toward strengthening the Academy’s international standing, introducing advanced practices in the field of public administration, and establishing a management laboratory aligned with global standards within the academic environment.
