Today, on August 15, the Rector of the Academy, Jasur Salikhov, held a meeting with Mr. Andre Algermissen, Regional Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Central Asia.
At the beginning of the dialogue, the Rector of the Academy provided Mr. Andre Algermissen with detailed information about the reforms being carried out at the Academy and the new cluster system established on the basis of Presidential Decree PD–78.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation between the Academy and the Foundation and to launch new joint projects.
In particular, successful agreements were reached on organizing joint educational programs, arranging internships in Germany for the Academy’s professors and research centers, conducting joint research in the field of local governance and decentralization, as well as holding seminars and training sessions.
The parties emphasized that strengthening cooperation between the Academy and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation is mutually beneficial and of significant importance for both sides.
