A seminar titled “Interdisciplinary Research and Scopus: Advancing Scientific Results to the International Level” was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at enhancing research capacity and integrating academic work into the global scientific community.
The seminar was delivered by internationally recognized scholar Dilfuza Egamberdiyeva, included in the TOP 2% of scientists worldwide, member of the Global Young Academy, TWAS, and IAS, and a Scopus-indexed expert (h-index: 54).
During the seminar, participants received comprehensive insights into the role of interdisciplinary research in modern science, mechanisms for elevating research outputs to international recognition, and practical aspects of publishing in high-impact journals indexed in Scopus.
Special emphasis was placed on applying innovative approaches in research, improving the quality of scientific work, commercializing research outcomes, and expanding international academic collaboration.
The seminar served as an open platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among the Academy’s faculty members, researchers, doctoral candidates, and trainees. Participants received detailed answers to their questions along with practical recommendations from the expert.
At the conclusion of the seminar, key insights were highlighted regarding enhancing research effectiveness, achieving higher positions in global rankings, and promoting scientific outputs on prestigious platforms such as Scopus.
This seminar marked an important step toward advancing the Academy’s research activities, strengthening interdisciplinary approaches, and integrating into the global academic community.
