On June 25, 2025, the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Criminological Research Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Youth Affairs Agency, hosted a national scientific and practical conference on the topic “Pressing Issues in Preventing Youth Crime.” The event brought together representatives from more than 20 government bodies, ministries, agencies, as well as leading scholars from research and educational institutions.
The conference focused on the scientific analysis of the causes of crime and the establishment of a systematic approach to conducting targeted research in the field of law enforcement.
It was emphasized that mutual cooperation, scientific dialogue, and the exchange of experience are crucial for preventing youth crime. Based on the outcomes of the event, participants are expected to put forward scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations.
