The Forum brought together leading international experts, scholars and public sector practitioners to examine the role of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and human capital in shaping the future of public administration.
In his address, Rector Jasur Salikhov shared Uzbekistan’s strategic priorities for modernising public administration, highlighting the digital transformation of governance, the integration of artificial intelligence into the civil service, the development of human capital, and the strengthening of the competencies required of modern public officials.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Rector Jasur Salikhov held a bilateral meeting with Azamat Zholmanov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The discussions focused on expanding institutional cooperation, including the development of a joint textbook on artificial intelligence for public administration, incorporating practical case studies from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, launching a regular series of online masterclasses and guest lectures delivered by leading academics and practitioners, and expanding academic exchange programmes for faculty members and researchers.
Participation in the Forum and the agreements reached during the bilateral meeting will contribute to strengthening international academic cooperation, promoting the exchange of advanced knowledge and best practices in public administration, and advancing joint educational and research initiatives aimed at preparing a new generation of highly qualified and globally competitive public sector leaders.
