Organization of Professional Development Courses for University Faculty and Reserve Personnel in the Higher Education System

The Urgench Branch of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a professional development course on the topic "Development of Andragogical Education and Managerial Competencies" for faculty members and reserve personnel of higher education institutions.

The course was aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and skills through the use of modern interactive methods, as well as fostering the personal potential of participants. The training program covered key areas such as effective time management and planning based on the Eisenhower Matrix, development of creative thinking, the ability of leaders to envision and shape long-term perspectives, strategic planning and roadmap development, stress management and self-regulation, emotional intelligence, leadership, governance, result-oriented management, and openness to innovation.

It was specifically emphasized that the main objective of the training was to equip pedagogical and reserve personnel in the education system with modern knowledge and competencies in management, and to support their continuous professional and leadership development.
