A delegation of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference “Science for Public Administration in Russia”, held in Moscow at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
The main purpose of participation in the conference was to promote the role of science in public administration at the international level, advance a human-centered and results-oriented management model, exchange views on the new paradigm of personnel policy and the strategic importance of scientific cooperation, as well as strengthen international partnerships in the field of governance.
Rector of the Academy, Dr. Jasur Salikhov, emphasized that under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy prioritizes the development of a new Uzbek model of public administration based on science and innovation:
“Today, Uzbekistan’s public administration system is transforming into a new model grounded in knowledge and science. For us, science is not merely a theory but the primary instrument of decision-making.”
In his address, the Rector also proposed the development of a joint research program in the areas of GovTech, water resource management, and civil service competence development, and announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy and RANEPA.
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in the fields of public administration research and education, training and professional development of managerial personnel, academic exchange of professors and students, development of joint educational programs, and implementation of innovative management methods.
