A consultative meeting was convened at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Andrew Templeman, a member of the Academy’s International Academic Advisory Council and an international expert. The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the policy frameworks guiding the modernisation of the Academy and the advancement of its institutional transformation agenda.
The discussion examined the progress in implementing the priority objectives outlined in Presidential Decree No. PF-78 of 5 May 2025, with particular emphasis on the strategic coherence and institutional effectiveness of the measures undertaken. In parallel, participants addressed the Academy’s ongoing transition towards a leading hub for the integration of knowledge, analytical expertise, and applied governance practice, alongside the incorporation of contemporary, results-oriented approaches to management, strategic planning, and decision-making within the educational process.
It was underscored that the consultative engagement would support the Academy’s deeper integration into the international academic community, strengthen structured cooperation with global experts, and facilitate the systematic application of innovative yet nationally grounded governance approaches in the development of modern public policy.
