Within the framework of implementing priority tasks aimed at advancing the public administration system, as defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a systematic assessment of the activities of regional branches of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is being carried out. The primary objective of this process is to strengthen the professional development system for public sector employees at the regional level, foster modern governance competencies, and enhance the quality of the educational process through unified institutional standards.

In this context, a working group led by Vice-Rector Sh.Valiyev conducted an on-site comprehensive evaluation of the Academy’s branches in the Sirdarya and Fergana regions.

The findings indicate that in the Sirdarya region there is a need to further systematize the educational process, standardize teaching and methodological materials, increase the share of practice-oriented training, and improve the effective use of existing technical resources.

In the Fergana region, priority areas include upgrading and expanding the material and technical base, strengthening digital infrastructure, and allocating additional resources to ensure the full digitalization of the educational process.

It should be noted that the Academy currently operates five regional branches across the country. Their systematic evaluation is aimed at further enhancing the training system for civil servants, ensuring comprehensive human capital development, and facilitating the phased implementation of reforms designed to improve the overall effectiveness of public administration nationwide.
