Graduation Ceremony of the “Young Leaders” Training Program: A Summary of Knowledge, Practice and Achievements

On July 25, 2025, the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted the official graduation ceremony of the “Young Leaders” program.

The event opened with a speech by the Rector of the Academy, Jasur Salikhov, who highlighted the content, areas, and outcomes of the program. He emphasized that the “Young Leaders” program is a significant step toward preparing young professionals for the modern system of public administration.

The program was implemented on the instruction of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Agency for Governance Efficiency and the National Human Resources Development Institute of the Republic of Korea.

Over a three-month period, the program included theoretical training, independent research, internships in government institutions, and international practice. Fifteen outstanding participants and one faculty member traveled to the Republic of Korea to study advanced public administration practices.

In total, 26 participants successfully completed the program.

The successful completion of the “Young Leaders” program marked a key milestone in shaping a new generation of competent, responsible, and strategic young professionals to support an efficient, modern, and forward-looking system of public administration in Uzbekistan.
