As part of implementing these priorities, the Academy, in cooperation with Germany’s DVV International Institute, organized a training session titled “Organizing Adult Education Based on Andragogy.”

Why is andragogy important?
Adult learning differs significantly from traditional education. Managers, professionals, and experienced learners require practice-oriented approaches, interactive methods, and learning environments built on knowledge and experience exchange.

The purpose of the training was to strengthen the andragogical competencies of faculty members and introduce modern, effective teaching methods into the educational process.

During the training, participants explored:

Adult learning psychology — how adult learners perceive information and make decisions;

Interactive teaching methods — using case studies, simulations, and practice-based approaches;

Audience engagement — integrating learners’ professional experience into the learning process;

Working with executive audiences — effective communication strategies for engaging senior-level professionals.

This international cooperation contributes to enhancing education quality, preparing highly qualified professionals with modern competencies, and strengthening the professional capacity of the public administration system.
