A meeting was held at the Academy of Public Administration and Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan between the Rector of the Academy, Jasur Salikhov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Guido De Sanctis.

During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the Academy’s activities, its organizational structure, as well as its key objectives and priority areas. The parties also exchanged views on issues related to the training of specialists in public administration, the development of research activities, and the expansion of international cooperation.

Particular attention was given to prospects for strengthening academic and scientific cooperation in the field of public administration, including experience exchange, the implementation of joint educational programmes, and collaborative research projects.

Ambassador Guido De Sanctis noted his interest in further strengthening cooperation with the Academy and expressed readiness to facilitate the establishment of contacts with leading universities and educational institutions in Italy specializing in public administration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue dialogue on advancing bilateral cooperation and implementing new joint initiatives.
