A scientific and practical round table on the topic "The Constitution - the guarantee of human dignity, freedom, equality, and justice" was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by representatives of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman), as well as leading legal higher educational institutions. An analysis of the processes of adopting the new Constitution, the scientific research and expert activities of the Academy's professors and teachers, and their role in this process was recalled.
For master's students and participants, lectures were heard on such topical issues as the legal modernization of the Constitution in the new edition, its harmonization with the principles of international law, and the role of civil society institutions.
