A two-day special training course has been completed at the Academy of Public Administration and Public Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This course was organized for consultants on information policy issues of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Council of Ministers, khokims of regions and the city of Tashkent.
The seminar facilitated an exchange of experience on various aspects of information policy, including its effective organization, strengthening cooperation with the media, countering fake news and information attacks, preventing crisis situations, utilizing modern PR technologies, digital media, and artificial intelligence capabilities. Special attention was also given to the role of information policy in public administration and the development of new approaches for effective communication.

The seminar addressed issues of effectively organizing information policy, strengthening cooperation with the media, countering fake news and information attacks, managing crisis communication, and utilizing modern PR technologies, digital media, and artificial intelligence capabilities. The seminar also aimed to address pressing problems in the field of information policy and develop new approaches for effective communication.
In his speech at the seminar, Sherzod Asadov Ikromovich, the press secretary of the Presidential Administration, reiterated the role and responsibility of information service heads. He also noted that the reforms carried out under the President's leadership have created new opportunities for press secretaries' work and activities, significantly increasing their importance.
Sherzod Asadov pointed out the systemic shortcomings of information services, including lack of efficiency, analytical approach, and creativity. He emphasized establishing continuous cooperation with the media, being open to their questions, and providing effective responses as top priorities.
The seminar featured numerous thematic sessions and master classes for information service heads in several advanced areas. Special attention was given to topics such as the goals and objectives defined in the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy, information legislation in public administration, working with modern analytical and monitoring platforms, social media, and crisis prevention.
