Today, the Academy officially welcomed a new cohort of students admitted to these programmes at the opening ceremony of the academic year. Addressing the participants, Rector Jasur Salikhov underscored that continuous learning and professional renewal have become indispensable attributes of effective public leadership in an era of rapid institutional and societal transformation. “The Academy can provide knowledge, guidance, and opportunity. Ultimately, however, the quality of your achievements will be determined by your intellectual curiosity, professional discipline, and personal responsibility,” the Rector noted.

The programmes are designed to cultivate advanced competencies in public governance, strategic planning, territorial development, human resource management, and leadership. Equally important, they seek to strengthen the analytical and decision-making capabilities required to address increasingly complex public policy challenges. By expanding access to graduate education for in-service professionals, the Academy aims to contribute to the development of a new generation of public sector leaders equipped with strategic vision, evidence-based thinking, and the capacity to drive sustainable reforms in Uzbekistan.
