An event was held as part of the campaign titled "Fire Safety Awareness"

Jasur Salikhov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, provided information about the work carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations to ensure regional safety, prevent fires, protect against natural disasters, and promote a culture of rational use of energy resources.

A representative of the Ministry, Lieutenant Colonel Zafar Toshtemirov, stated that a nationwide campaign titled "Fire Safety Awareness" is being held across the country from September 15 to October 15 of this year. He noted that compared to last year, the number of people affected by fires and natural disasters in the regions has decreased, which indicates the positive impact of ongoing awareness-raising and outreach efforts. He also reminded the public to exercise caution when using technical equipment and emphasized that in case of emergencies, citizens can contact the relevant services by dialing 101 or 112.
