A working meeting was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Walid Fouqué, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan.

During the discussions, issues of modernizing public administration, introducing contemporary models for training and retraining managerial personnel, and broadly implementing international best practices in the educational process were addressed.

The parties emphasized that establishing platforms for experience exchange between the two countries is a crucial step in implementing an effective personnel policy in public administration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the following priority areas of constructive partnership were identified:

- Continuing joint educational and research projects, as well as experience exchange programs for professors, teachers, and students;

- Strengthening grant and expert mechanisms;

- Developing internships based on international practices;

- Organizing joint training modules and workshops;

- Implementing international experiences, case analyses, and mentoring mechanisms within the framework of the "Women Leaders" program;

- Reinforcing institutional cooperation.

It is worth noting that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, recently accepted the credentials of Mr. Walid Fouqué as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan.
