The event, titled “One Breath of Two Geniuses: Navoiy and Bobur,” aimed to honor the invaluable scholarly and literary heritage of our ancestors, as well as the enduring ideals of justice and humanism.
In her opening remarks, Academy Vice-Rector Raima Shirinova emphasized the exceptional role of Alisher Navoiy and Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur not only in the development of classical literature, but also in shaping principles of governance, moral integrity, and spiritual maturity.
As part of the program, actors of the Mukimi State Musical Theatre of Uzbekistan performed artistic monologues bringing to life the images of Navoiy and Bobur. In addition, young performers from the Yunus Rajabi Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts and the Glière School of Arts presented classical melodies, ghazals, and rubaiyat with great artistic mastery.
At the conclusion of the event, Academy master’s students noted that the evening contributed to strengthening respect for the legacy of great ancestors, devotion to the Motherland, and a heightened sense of responsibility for the future.
