A special seminar-training was organized for employees of district and city khokimiyats of Samarkand region

A special seminar-training was held for employees of district and city khokimiyats of Samarkand region in order to convey the essence and content of the video conference held on June 16 this year under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The event aimed to enhance the effectiveness of ongoing reforms in the regions and to increase the responsibility of local leaders in addressing issues affecting the population.

The seminar was attended by khokims and their deputies, heads of organizational and control groups, as well as heads of district and city departments of ministries and agencies responsible for the spheres of economy, finance, investment, agriculture, employment, construction, ecology, culture, family and women’s affairs, and youth policy.

As part of the seminar, lectures were delivered on modern socio-psychological approaches to improving the efficiency of public administration.

At the end of the seminar, based on the feedback and proposals of the participants, relevant recommendations were developed for civil servants.
