A Significant Step Taken Toward Integrating International Best Practices into the Academy’s Operations

On june 3, 2025, a meeting was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Sir Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Economic Development, Effective Public Administration, and International Cooperation; Jasur Salikhov, Rector of the Academy; and Gulnoza Ismailova, Executive Director of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector emphasized that the Academy has entered a new phase of comprehensive reform, including the modernization of academic programs, the establishment of research centers, and the adoption of advanced teaching methodologies.

During the meeting, a proposal was presented to appoint an international expert to the newly established position of Advisor to the Rector on Transformation and Strategic Development, with the aim of ensuring the effective implementation of the Academy’s far-reaching reforms in line with leading international standards and practices.
