A Meeting with the Chinese Delegation Held at the Academy

Today, on September 25, a meeting was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Rector Jasur Salikhov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Yu Jun, and Vice President of the Chinese National Academy of Governance Mr. Li Yi.

At the beginning of the meeting, the foreign guests were provided with detailed information on the ongoing activities at the Academy in the field of personnel training within the framework of Presidential Decree PD–78 of May 5, 2025.

The parties emphasized that, under the leadership of the heads of state, bilateral relations and cooperation are consistently developing.

Subsequently, the prospects for implementing projects such as faculty exchange, joint scientific research, as well as the program “Leaders of Public Administration in the Context of Digital Transformation” between the Academy and the Chinese National Academy of Governance were discussed.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between our institution and the Chinese National Academy of Governance. In addition, a tour of the Academy was organized for the guests, during which they were introduced to the facilities created for our students, the educational process, and research activities.

This document will serve to further strengthen cooperation between the parties, facilitate the implementation of joint projects, and promote the development of new initiatives.
