A Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Held at the Academy

On August 19, 2025, Rector of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jasur Salikhov, held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan, Girts Jaunzems. The meeting was also attended by Anita Krumina, Director of the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) under the Ministry of Finance of Latvia, as well as Ieva Jaunzeme, Project Officer of the Latvian International Cooperation Agency responsible for projects in Uzbekistan. During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on training qualified professionals in the field of public administration, implementing joint educational and research projects, and developing modern training programs for civil servants. Both sides noted the steady development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and expressed strong interest in sharing experiences and pursuing new joint initiatives. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Academy and the Latvian delegation emphasized their readiness to deepen practical cooperation and to support joint projects in the fields of education and research.
