A meeting with experts from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held at the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Rector Jasur Salikhov briefed the guests on the systemic reforms being implemented under Presidential Decree PF–78, aimed at modernizing the public administration system, preparing highly qualified managerial personnel, advancing digital transformation, and expanding international cooperation.

The parties discussed several priority areas aligned with the Academy’s mission and focused on the development of human capital:
🔹 Women’s Leadership: strengthening the role of women in public service, enhancing their leadership competencies, and organizing international study visits and internships under the “Women Leaders” program.
🔹 Training of Trainers Centre: establishing a National Training of Trainers Centre for civil servants and faculty members, as well as introducing modern blended learning technologies.
🔹 Research and Publishing Cooperation: conducting joint research in public administration, human resources (HR), and talent management, while attracting expert and financial support for the development of a new generation of academic textbooks.
🔹 Digital Infrastructure: expanding opportunities for distance learning and developing innovative digital education platforms.

The meeting marked another step toward strengthening international partnerships, expanding academic and expert cooperation, and advancing the “education – research – practice” principle in the field of public administration.
